In search of more space and lower rents (and perhaps longevity!), we have moved our studio back upstate, this time just south of Kerhonkson in the Village of Ellenville, NY (once a center of the Borsch Belt). We now reside on the 4th floor of the Ellenville Village Government Center, with the police station on the first floor and government offices on the second. The original building tenant was a bank, a lineage we embrace in imagining how to mint our own community currency. Together with artist and designer Melissa Gorman, we have a vision (and the room!) for creating a gathering and making space, alongside our own art practices and explorations.
KAHAKSINK-RONDOUTings is the first project we’re creating out of our studio at 2 Elting Court.
